The adult moths of this species have variable grey-brown forewings with indistinct patterns, sometimes including indistinct pale streaks along the costa and the hind margin. The hindwings are off-white with faint brown patterns along the margins. The wingspan is about 3.5 cms.

The species is found in

  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
