The adult moths have brown forewings, each with a broad paler band across the middle. The tips of the forewings are slghtly hooked, and the wing margins are slightly scalloped. At rest, the wings are held over the body. The wingspan is about 4 cms. The females have thread-like antennae, and the males have pectinated antennae.
