The adult moths of this species have pale brown or grey forewings, each with a non-descript pattern including a dark splodge by the tornus. The hindwings are a uniform off-white. The moths have a wingspan of about 3 cms. In its natural posture, the moth is inclined to keep its wings rolled tightly around its body.
