The adult moths of this species have brown forewings, each with a double zig-zag pale-edged submarginal band, and a similar single zig-zag band near the base.

The hindwings are pale brown darkening toward the edges, each with a vague pattern including dark comma-shaped spot near the middle. The wingspan is about 4 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
