The adult moths of this species are brown, with a dark spot near the costa, and a submarginal arc of dark dots, on each forewing. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria, and
  • South Australia.
