The adult moths of this species have brown forewings, each with two dark smudged streaks, and a pale streak along the costa. The hindwings are pale brown. The moths have a wingspan of about 2.5 cms.

The species has been found in

  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • South Australia.
