The adult moths of this species are greyish brown, with a variable faint pattern including a thin pale submarginal line accompanied by some black spots on each forewing.

The hindwings are plain pale brown. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

The species has been found in

  • Western Australia,
  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
