The adult moths of this species are dimorphic The female has brown forewings with a series of longitudinal light and dark stripes.

The male moths have blotchy brown forewings.

The hindwings of both sexes are darker brown with several white spots. The wingspans of the moths are both about 5 cms.

The species has been found in :

  • New Guinea,

    as well as in Australia in

  • Queensland.
