The adult moths of this species are a mottled greyish brown with a dark orange streak at the base, and a two-tone spot near the middle of each forewing. The hindwings are pale brown. The thorax has two reddish hair tufts. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in :

  • New South Wales, and
  • South Australia.
