Heteromicta nigricostella Hampson, 1898 GALLERIINAE,   PYRALIDAE,   PYRALOIDEA

The adult moths of this species have brown frewings, each with two variable dark marks near the middle. The hindwings are pale brown, fading to off-white at the bases. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in

Queensland.
