Symbolistis orophota

The adult moths of this species have pale brown forewings each with a dark brown patch at the middle of the costa. The hindwings are off-white, shading to brown at the wingtips. The hindwing margins are recurved near the wingtips. The wingspan is about 1 cm.

The species has been found in Australia in

  • New South Wales, and
  • Victoria.
