The adult moths of this species have cream forewings, each with a scattering of brown markings. The hindwings are plain pale brown, with very hairy margins. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.

The species has been reported in

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory,
  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales, and
  • South Australia.
