The adult moths of this species have brown forewings each with a dark spot on the hind-margin near the tornus. The hindwings are pale brown, darkening at the wing-tips. The hindwings each have a concave margin. The wingspan is about 1.7 cms.

The species has been found in

  • New South Wales (listed as Telephila plasticus).
