The adult moths have brown forewings with a faint pattern, and sometimes with a white spot or white streak on each forewing. The moths have pale brown hindwings and abdomen. The females are paler than the males. The wingspan of the males is about 6 cms. The wingspan of the females is about 8 cms.

The species has been found in :

  • New South Wales, and
  • Victoria.
