The adult moth of this species has brown forewings, each with a dark broad irregular white-outlined central band, and a faint white submarginal zigzag line. The hindwings are brown with vague dark markings. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.

The species occurs in

    as well as in Australia in

  • Queensland.
