The adult moth of this species has brown forewings crossed by wavy bands, including a particularly pale half band near each wingtip. The moths have dark yellow hindwings. The moths have a wingspan of about 2 cms.

The species is found in

  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • South Australia.
