The adult moths of this species have wings with broken bands of light and dark brown. The markings are less pronounced on the paler hindwings. The resting posture has the wings flat but the hindwings covered. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species occurs in

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • South Australia.
