The adult moths of this species have variable grey and white patterned forewings, some specimens having the pattern obscured by an additional wing cover of plain brown or grey scales. The hindwings vary from off-white to brown. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
