The adult moth has yellow forewings, each with a network of sinuous white lines, and a dark spot near the middle. The hindwings are plain yellow. Both sexes have similar antennae. The wingspan of the male moth is about 2 cms. The wingspan of the female moth is about 2.5 cms.
