The adult moth of this species has grey forewings, each with a variety of markings including a pale medial band outlined by two jagged dark lines which often degenerate into unconnected dark marks. The hindwings are off-white shading to fawn at the wingtips. The head is white. The moth has a wingspan of about 1.7 cms.

This species has been found in

  • Java,

    as well as in Australia in

  • Northern Territory,
  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
