The adult moth of this species has grey forewings with a faint tracery pattern. The hindwings are white, shading to grey at the wingtips. The moth has a wingspan of about 4 cms. The sexes are similar.

This species is found over most of the southern half of Australia, including

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria, and
  • Western Australia.
