The Caterpillars of this species sometimes are a pest on:
The caterpillars live in a silken web, spun between the leaves of a foodplant.
The adult moth has brown forewings with a pale area at each wingtip with a white outline containing a large brown spot, and a white outlined brown area of erect scales at the back of the thorax. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.
