These Caterpillars are pale green and stout, with pale brown heads. They live in shelters made from shoots of their foodplant wound round with silk. The caterpillars have been found feeding on

  • Coastal Tea Tree ( Leptospermum laevigatum ), and
  • Broad-leaved paperbark ( Melaleuca quinquenervia ),

    both of MYRTACEAE.

    The adult moth has forewings that are pale brown with complex dark brown markings. The hindwings are plain brown.

    The species has been found in

  • Northern Territory
  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Tasmania, and
  • South Australia.
