The moth has dark brown forewings, each with a pale transverse line about one third along from the base. The hindwings are pale brown, often reddish. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

The species has been found in

  • New Guinea,

    as well as in Australia in

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
