The adult moths of this species have forewings that are a patchy greyish-brown, each with a white area in the middle transected by a dark chevron pointing to the head. The hindwings are white, shading to brown at the margins. The moths have a wingspan of about 2 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in :

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory
  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
