The male adult moth has grey forewings, each with lots of short black zigzag lines which concentrate in one area to form a vague dark transverse band. The hindwings are vaguely speckled pale grey. The moth has a wingspan of about 3 cms.

The species has been found in

  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
