The adult male moth of this species has grey forewings, each with some blurred black stripes. The hindwings are pale brown. The thorax is covered in long grey scales, with a black dorsal stripe. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • Northern Territory, and
  • Queensland.
