This Caterpillar covers its case with about two dozen thin sticks or dry stems of varying lengths aligned parallel to the case. This is similar to the case of Clania lewinii, but Clania lewinii has thicker sticks and fewer of them, and has them cut to more nearly the same length. The case is also similar to that of Undetermined Casemoth BK, but the head and thorax appear paler with more contrasting markings.
The case in the photo had a length of about 4 cms.
