The adult moth has grey fore wings with a wavy light and dark pattern, and white hind wings shading to dark brown at the margins. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.

This species has been taken in Australia in

  • Northern Territory,
  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales, and
  • Victoria.
