The Caterpillar of this species is pale brown with a pale line along each side. The caterpillar has the first two pairs of prolegs missing.
The adult moth has brown forewings, each having areas of differing shades separated by sinuous lines, and having two black and white spots on the margin. The hindwings are pale brown. The wingspan is about 3 cms.
