The adult moths have forewings which are dark brown each with a white stripe extending from the base, not quite reaching the margin. The hindwings are dark brown. The moths only have a wingspan of about 1.3 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria,
  • Tasmania, and
  • South Australia.
