The adult moth of this species is yellow or orange, with various black or dark brown markings, usually including two black or dark brown stripes across, and one around the margin, of each forewing, and one around the margin of each hindwing. The moth has a wingspan of about 2 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in :

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria.
