The adult moth has off-white forewings, each with dark brown veins, a variable broad white band across the middle, and a white patch near the tornus. The hindwings are yellow with an asymmetric dark margin. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
