The Caterppillars of this species have been found in a

  • Gall on a Wattle.

    The adult moth has forewings that have a yellow basal half, with a dark brown area by the base, and a brown marginal half which has variable yellowish patches. The hindwings are brown. The thorax is yellow with brown sides, and a brown dorsal line. The hind margin of each wing has a hairy fringe wider than the wing itself. The moth has a wingspan of about 1 cm.

    The species is found in :

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
