These Caterpillars have been found feeding on:
The adult moths have yellow forewings with extensive pink patches, and pale yellow hindwings. Each wing has a pointed wingtip, and a smoothly rounded tornus. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms. The labial palps are held straight out in front of the head.
