This adult moth has forewings which are off-white, each with dark brown markings, including stripes along the costa and hindmargin, and a dozen or so spots. The hindwings are dark brown, fading to white at the bases. The head is yellow, the thorax white with a brown spot, and the abdomen ringed in black and white bands, with a yellow tuft on the tip. The wingspan is about 3 cms.
