The adult moths of this species are dark brown with a green iridescence. The head has a shiny green collar. The antennae of the male are pectinated, and the antennae of the female are thread-like. The females have a yellow tuft on the tip of the abdomen. The wingspan of both sexes is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in:
