The moths of this species have off-white forewings, each with two dark spots near the middle, and with three incomplete dark brown bands, the postmedial pair of which join near the hind-margin to make a 'V'. The hindwings are pale brown. The head is white with a black collar. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in :

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
