The moths of this species have a vague pattern of light and dark brown on each forewing, including some dark spots, and a short dark streak from the base. The hindwings are pale brown. The wingspan is about 1.7 cms.

The species is found in Australia, including:

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
