The forewings of the adult moth of this species have pale brown forewings, each with dark brown speckles and spots. The hindwings are plain pale brown. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
