This adult moth has fawn striped or speckled forewings. The hindwings are white shading to pale brown at the margins. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • Western Australia,
  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria,
  • Tasmania, and
  • South Australia.
