Caterpillars of this genus have been found in leaf litter under

  • Gum Trees ( Angophora and Eucalyptus species, MYRTACEAE )

    The adult moth has yellow forewings, each with a dark brown submarginal, arc around the margin from near the wingtip to the tornus, and then extending along distal end of the hind margin. The hindwings are grey. The head and thorax are yellow. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

    The species has been found in :

  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory, and
  • Victoria.

    The species does not belong in the genus Coesyra, but no suitable genus has yet been found.
