The adult moths of this species have pale forewings that have grey speckles and dots. The hindwings are grey-brown. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory, and
  • Tasmania.
