The forewings of the adult moth of this species are brown with a dark-edged pale central streak containing some dark spots, and a dark incomplete transverse arc, The hindwings are pale brown. The labial palps are long and partly very hairy. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in

  • Tasmania.
