The adult moths have brown forewings with variable dark markings. The hindwings are pale brown darkening toward margins. The forewing tips are recurved slightly, and the hindwing margins scalloped slightly. The moths repose with the forewings held covering the hindwings. The wingspan is about 4 cms.
