The moths of this species are pale brown with a number of black spots on each forewing including an arc of dark spots around the margins, and dark tips to all the wings. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.

The species is found in Australia, including:

  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria, and
  • South Australia.
