The adult moth of this species has dark brown forewings, each with a prominent incomplete brown-centred white line. The hindwings are plain brown. The wingspan is just under 2 cms.

The species has been found in :

  • New Zealand,

    and in south-east Australia in

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory, and
  • Victoria.
