The adult moth has yellow forewings, each with dark brown areas at the base and around the margin. The hindwings are pale brown darkening toward the wingtips. The moth has a wingspan of about 1.5 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in

  • Northern Territory, and
  • Queensland.
