The forewings of the adult moth of this species are dark brown with a broad bent white stripe sometimes containing a dark spot. The hindwings are off-white darkening towards the wingtips. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

The species has been found in

  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
