These Caterpillars are live in tunnels in the ground, and feed on various

  • Grasses ( POACEAE ).

    The forewings of the adult moth of this species are brown or pale brown with several incomplete white stripes. The hindwings are off-white darkening towards the wingtips. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

    The species has been found in

  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria, and
  • South Australia.
